GOLF AT SLEEPY VALLEY RESORT

Sleepy Valley Resort is located adjacent to Martin Valley Golf course with 27 holes of Championship Golf. Simply ride your golf cart from your unit to the Martin Valley Golf Course Clubhouse and you are on your way to a fun round of golf. The Rio Grande Valley is a great place for golfers and Sleepy Valley Resort is a great location for it. There are 5 beautiful golf courses within minutes of Sleepy Valley Resort. All courses below are playable for most every golfer.  The terrain ranges from flat to slightly hilly, but all are walkable. Green fees are very reasonable; courses are well maintained and different amenities are available at each course.

Martin Valley is an 18-hole course rated 'medium' in terms of maintenance by our golfers.  It is a slightly hilly course but walkable for most golfers.  It plays a little easier than Shary or Seven Oaks. It is accessible by golf cart from Sleepy Valley Resort.

Shary Municipal Golf Course – 5.5 miles from Sleepy Valley Resort

Shary Municipal Golf Course has a flat and walkable terrain suitable for golfers of every level.  It is only 5.5 miles from Sleepy Valley Resort.

Cimmeron is a very nice private non-equity course that accepts public play.  It is about 8 miles from Sleepy Valley Resort. It is slightly hilly but walkable. The quality of this golf course is good.

Palm View Golf Course – 10 miles from Sleepy Valley Resort

This is the City of McAllen's Municipal course located 10 miles from Sleepy Valley Resort. Palm View is walkable, but slightly hilly. It is more challenging than Martin Valley and Shary Municipal. It's a nice course and well maintained.
